Energy Audit Pricing:

The Energy Audit is the most popular, accurate, and thorough option when considering a whole-home approach to solving energy issues relating to comfort, efficiency, or safety. Most existing home owners begin with the base audit and often will add a more detailed (advanced) test as needed or asidentified by our staff.

Solar PV Feasibility Study:

Use professional solar GPS intrumentation. Calculate suggested array sizes, site survey, orientation, shading angles, and estimated ROI.

Advanced Indoor Air Quality

Supply mail-in Radon test kit. Testing uses labortory-grade particulate counter to analyze indoor air pollutants. Hygrometers measure indoor moisture loads. Contact us for more details.

Power Cost Meter Analysis:

Appliance / Lighting / Electronics Load Schedule (kWhr)

Use Power Cost / Kill-a-watt meters to measure current draw from household lighting, appliances, and electronics. This is a great test for anyone who wants to formally rank to power-hungry lights, electronics, or appliances. We find it helps customers reduce consumption by simply knowing which areas to keep OFF!

Duct Leakage

Use calibrated Duct Blaster to perform total duct leakage and duct-leakage-to-outside the building shell.

Post-Weatherization Testing

Re-do Blower door and combustion safety testing, Compile Case Study w/ CO2 lbs saved, report job or weatherization results back to DOE / MD MEA / or the Energy Star Programs.

Assist homeowner with Energy Rebate paper work and submittal process(es) with states and utility companies.

Builders and Real Estate agents: please contact us for pricing and scheduling. We also offer unit discounts for larger builder's completing multiple units per sub-division. EDGE Energy can also perform Sampling for the Energy Star program - which requires that 1 of 7 units be tested in each development.

Energy Survey Pricing:

Energy Surveys are cheaper than audits because the auditor will NOT perform IR (Infrared) analysis or write a formal audit report. The consult adheres to RESNET Chapter 7 guidelines for home energy surveys. On some occasions due to health / safety or accuracy of the audit and proposed workscopes, a full energy audit most be completed.

Each survey includes a blower door test, building analysis, and all combustion safety tests as applicable. We will collect enough data to prepare a detailed work scope with ROI calculations if pursuing a home performance tract.
