Solar Field Service Technician – Beltsville, MD

EDGE Energy is looking for a skilled and motivated Solar Field Service Technician to join our growing team. With 19 years in the industry, we specialize in solar service, troubleshooting, and system optimization. What You’ll Do:

• Perform general solar service work, including system troubleshooting, inverter swaps, and component replacements
• Troubleshooting and service of battery storage systems (experience is a plus!)
• Handle warranty claims and repairs
• Interact directly with customers, providing exceptional service and technical expertise
• Identify and upsell additional services and products to improve system performance
• Conduct removals and reinstalls when needed
• Maintain company-provided tools and ensure high safety standards
• Start and end your day at our Beltsville, MD warehouse, servicing a wide territory

What We’re Looking For:

Must-have:

• Solar installation and/or service experience
• Enphase experience (required)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic hand tools (major tools provided by the company)

Nice-to-have:

• SunPower experience (a plus)
• Battery storage experience (a plus)
• Electrical experience (a major plus)
• NABCEP Certification (not required, but we will help the right candidate obtain certifications)

Pay Range: $27 – $35 Hr. DOE
Hours: 40+ weekly M-F.
